This conference welcomes submissions for oral or poster presentations focused on the sonification, sound design and sonic interaction design (SID) based on health and/or environmental data and information.

Topics can include:

• sonification, sound design and SID case studies in the fields of health and environmental science
• sonification, sound design and SID case studies in the field of energy consumption
• sonification, sound design and SID case studies in the fields of health and physical energy
• interactive sonification and sonic interaction design applications
• sonification, sound design and SID applications for mobile technology and/or the web
• sonification, sound design and SID for public engagement
• sonification, sound design and SID for research
• aesthetic issues in sonification, sound design and SID
• novel sonification, sound design and SID strategies
• practical systems and working prototypes
• evaluation of sonification, sound design and SID related to health and environmental data

Submission

Please submit here (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sonihed2022) an abstract in English of between 200-500 words by Monday 29 August 2022 (NEW EXTENDED DEADLINE!).

The initial abstract submission should include the following information:

• Name of the author(s) with email addresses and affiliation
• Title of the presentation/poster
• Body of the abstract

Papers should be between 4 and 8 pages, written in English, and not previously published.

Papers must be submitted as PDF documents generated from the following template:

Notification of Acceptance will take place on Friday 16 September 2022.

The camera-ready article of accepted papers will be due on Friday 7 October 2022.

Final papers will be published in the online Proceedings of the Conference.
