In December 2021, we conducted an innovative workshop to investigate attitudes towards sounds in the house and how we feel towards them; different attitudes towards energy efficiency; and what these seemingly disparate aspects of life have in common.
We used a variety of methods to reflect on these topics including sound making and sound sketching; household energy-related scenarios derived and adapted from literature; and design fiction.
The workshop yielded interesting results, which we are currently analysing, and it was great fun!
Sound for Energy is funded by the Swedish Energy Agency (Project No. 51645-1).
